Hear the stories from three mothers who lost daughters due to domestic violence situations and how they overcame and the true story from a survivor. This event aims to raise awareness, provide support, and foster understanding between these two critical issues. Come listen to powerful stories, engage in discussions, and learn how we can all play a role in breaking the stigma surrounding mental health and domestic violence. Join us for an empowering and thought-provoking event at the Pink Lions Jazz Club & Event Center (New Black Wall Street Market) on Thursday, February 29, 2024, at 6:00 PM (EST). This in-person gathering aims to foster open discussions about the strength and identity of Black men and women in our society while discussing mental health wellness.

Throughout the evening, we will explore various aspects of strength, resilience, and self-perception within the Black community. This event offers a safe space for individuals to share their experiences, challenges, and triumphs while collectively reflecting on what it means to be a strong Black man or woman.
Our goal is to encourage dialogue, promote unity, and challenge societal stereotypes. Through engaging conversations and interactive activities, we hope to inspire personal growth, self-acceptance, and a deeper understanding of our shared experiences.
